The Sikh community in the United Kingdom marks a momentous occasion with the inauguration of Darbar Sahib Radio, a world's first radio station broadcasting live kirtan directly from Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji.
Live kirtan will broadcast daily from 4am to 10pm, with strictly no commercial interruptions, no adverts, no funding appeals and no presenters.
Launching on the Sikh new year, Thursday 14th March 2024, Darbar Sahib Radio will transmit across major cities including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Leicester, Manchester and Glasgow.
The UK Sikh sangat are invited to tune in on their DAB radios in their cars by simply searching for Darbar Sahib Radio.

ਲਾਈਵ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਵੇਰੇ 4 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਤ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਦੇ, ਕੋਈ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕੋਈ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਅਪੀਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਰੇਡੀਓ ਬਰਮਿੰਘਮ, ਵੁਲਵਰਹੈਂਪਟਨ, ਕੋਵੈਂਟਰੀ, ਲੈਸਟਰ, ਮਾਨਚੈਸਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਲਾਸਗੋ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਿਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
